I actually heard about this before but always just considered it a minor quirk that wouldn't ruin games. I've spun off a github issue and targeted it for 3641 none the less: https://github.com/FAForever/fa/issues/617

when you capturing a opponent unit, if this player can give the unit to an ally, it will cancel the capture order.

In 1v1 you need to time the moment when you have to ctrl k to not allow your opponent to convert it.

this is a bug.
