Examples? Well many companies did it, mostly stating the shut you down because you don't comply with some very vague defined terms of conditions.
  • Paypal freezes your account
  • Your hoster suddenly shuts down and deletes all of your services without giving you a chance for a backup
  • Your DNS being blocked by a provider
  • Police forces confiscate your possesions (hardware or whatever) because of some suspicion (you can get them back after ~5 years...)
