FA runs fine in wine under linux.
but FAF needs windows to run!

just look/search on the forum and you find a few threads about FA in wine.

I have no clue about linux. i cant help u with that.
If u have questions about the gameplay feel free to ask me

I recently decided to enter in my cd code for supcom on Steam, and it gave me FA for free as well, and since then I've been getting more and more into Supcom! I got a friend or two interested as well, and I'm looking forward to playing more, not being a noob, etc. It's really cool that this dedicated community exists

On a side note, I'm going to try to get FAF running in wine on Linux soon (I get sick of Windows after a while ), and I was wondering if anybody else has advice or experience in doing so? I'm fairly new to Linux as well, installed Ubuntu 12.04 a few months ago, so I don't know much about wine. Fingers crossed I can get the game working though! I do everything else in Linux (pretty much everything except gaming).

I originally was interested in Supcom when it wasn't even released yet, but I never had the chance to play it, then about a year ago my friend gave me a few games for free (including Supcom). I was really bad, my computer couldn't really handle the game well, and nobody else I knew played it, so it just sat on my shelf until now. Totally excited to play more now!

I wrote more than I originally intended to, oh well!
