Yep, I knew I lost as a result of not getting gun-but I couldn't get it even though I knew I needed to. As for air well my counter to that was to add anti-air to my unit build queue as well as building anti air turrets outside his base. But for some reason I couldn't get gun which is what I am wondering about. He was a 1700 so it was a forgone conclusion really but I felt if I did somethings differently then I could have shut him down or at least got a draw. Edit: I forgot to mention the video. Yes that is a good video Sheppard, well done Some interesting stuff in there.

His bombers also killed a lot of your tanks. Air supremacy is important as Aeon.

I'm not sure what advantage you thought you had, but you squandered it. You let him have the sides and he reclaimed over twice the mass you did and used that to kill you. He also took your left hand mex so your mex advantage which was only 2 which was easily made up through reclaim.

Okay, an interest game here. On fields of Thunder I go up against this guy who's name I recognise, I have seen his replays before so I know he is good. I think he underestimated me in this game because he let me take the advantage in the middle of the map. I see he goes second air so I decide to commit to full on land spam without building air myself. This gives me the immediate advantage which allows me to take and secure the middle. My next planned step was to obtain the gun upgrade for my com, which I had trouble doing because I was using him to hold the middle and therefore my com was being harrassed almost constantly. Eventually I build a land factory to help with holding the middle but by this time my opponent has the unit advantage as well as the gun himself. So even though I have the advantage I get overrun and killed by my opponent.
