Is there any possibility of this being made into a 'sticky' so it remains on the first page of the forum?

It is a very good guide.

thanks for the newB guide.
It really helped me to watch replay from your enemy point of view.
Waching some bootcamp tutorials and hopefully I can have some nice faf games in the short future.

Yes watching the game from your opponent's viewpoint is really helpful and lets you see where you were weak on the map and where you were strong and if things like stealth bases worked.

I love watching my opponents economy crumble when i kill it :D

@Zazen: great guide! There is one small thing that I disagree with:

Overcharge: don't build several energy storages and usually don't build extra power for it. Overcharge is for later in the game. The power & mass you have to invest is much better spent on extra units. Why? Lets look at the costs.

Energy storage: 250 mass
Five extra t1 power generators: 375 mass

This allows you overcharge every 50 seconds. Lets be optimistic and assume that every 60 seconds you have an opportunity to overcharge 2 t1 tanks. Notice that this is very optimistic, in a real game it doesn't work like this since your enemy will try to avoid your acu with his units. With this investment you have to overcharge 6 times to break even mass wise: you break even mass wise in 6 minutes when you've killed 11-12 enemy tanks. This is not a great investment.

When you are facing t2 units overcharge can be nice however, or when you are in a situation where you have extra power available. For example on maps where you have 2 hydros or when you've finished gun upgrade for which you had to build extra power generators, or when you've just overbuilt your power. Or on bigger maps where suddenly your commander is in danger, you can sometimes save him by building a quick energy storage and pausing everything that uses power.

Another disadvantage of overcharge: it destroys the reclaim!

Looking forward to the next installment :)
