One public thread for clans is enough, no? I would have no idea how to fill an own public forum on top on the private one.

I can think of a clan that could fill their own forum.

The "Clans" Forum is public but only members of a clan can create a Topic. I can change that if necessary. Each sub-Forum is hidden. I could also create a 2nd not hidden sub-Forum for each clan if you want this.

No.

I would like it if it was similar to Toribash forums which I linked in the OP (with the exception of not having dedicated clan recruitment/russian clans subforums)

Clans [public] (for general discussion about clans, rules, new clans which dont have forums yet etc.)
--- Empire [public] (clan roster, videos, info about clan, most of all clan discussion here)
--- --- e secrets [private] (any secret schemes that the clan might or might not have)

+ add some rules to getting a clan subforum like having 10+ active members or something like that
maybe some additional requirements for getting the private subforum (toribash has this)

I don't see the need for this. If there is any conversation which you seek to make public then why not put it in the general discussion area? The whole purpose of a clan sub forum is for it to be exclusive. I don't see the problem that this is trying to solve.

You might find it useful to look at my link to find out how it works

With all the clan hype (or lack thereof) going on lately, I've been inspired to look at some old clan forums. Mainly Toribash: http://forum.toribash.com/forumdisplay.php?f=97

Discuss.
