If it's not hosted on the FAF website, I can't really allow any access to the database from an external website.

It would be nice to have a web based page full of statistics pulled from replays obviously including ladder and ranked standings but also other stuff including a VS feature where you can compare any two players and see how many games they have won against each other. You just keep on expanding on this forever ... it could go into graphs over time, compare factions, by map, GW stuff, link back to the individual replays, etc.

I assume there is a sql database somewhere with all of the data. If this is the case, then I can build this myself. I'd do it using sql, c#, asp.net, html5, css3, jquery and it would be a standalone website on a domain that I would host. Or if Zep wanted it integrated with this site, someone else could port what I made to php (because I wont)... which should be a small job because I'd have already done the html-js-sql part.

Initially I'd just do a few features but would add stuff slowly over time as time permits.

I'd be doing this for myself because I would like to see the stats, but also because I think the community would like it and it would foster healthy grudge rivalries between players .

So, Zep ... do you want this?
