It should work, but as I don't have win8, I can't give support that OS.

I use windows 8 and have for probably a year now between the beta and official release. I've encountered 0 problems between FAF and Win8

Can't do anything without logs.
And yes, you have them.

Also, win8 is not officially supported. The problem is probably the openGL display crashing the whole thing.

hi,
i've done all the requirements to join gw alpha im in the group but faf crashes after i press gw (no logs are given)
1. is it normal i dont have this?

im running win 8
do i need admins approval too to let me in because i dont get the message saying "you don't have access to galactic war alpha" ?
