Buy reinforcements to player bug

I had 2 medusas and 4 mantis in my unit list. I was out of credits and asked a friend to buy me another 16 mantis and 3 medusa. After he bough me the reinforcements, the new units he sent me overwrote my unit list. So instead of having 5 medusa and 20 mantis, there where only the 16 mantis and 3 medusas. We tried it several times but it never worked.
