whole veterancy as it already work in faf are completly broken. everyone know it, none do nothing with it. We dont need to talk about something fox xyz time. nothing happends.

when you want non total cancer veterancy system play equilibrium where situation as insta heal shit didnt occur and where units get fair porcion of xp from they strength and no flat number for same tech, also units share experience for kill so when asfs kill czar all asfs get experience and not only one that finish him

i watched that cast last night. if he just waited to make 10 or so more asf, czar would have died without vetting and gg.

what happened there is like seeing a monkeylord and sending 20 titans at it...

then later he sent a load of inties at it which just melted under the beam... the titans didnt work so lets send t1 at the monkey...

Giving a unit 10,000 health makes it much harder to kill since there are very few weapons that do that much damage.

Giving a unit 100 health is, in my opinion, no big deal.

You cannot just say "weaker units get far more xp." As a percentage of their XP, they do. But in terms of making them harder to kill, they don't, really. You rarely lose a game because a t1 tank vets -- you can still just overcharge it. You often lose games between a t4 vets -- suddenly you need another overcharge (eg 5 more seconds, which, when getting shot in the face by a microwave laser beam, is an eternity) or 20 more ASF.

Battleship 51000Hp 6xp. 6 frigate 12 000hp 6xp.

Thankfully, brnk was kind enough to cast a replay with this (bug?) very visible.

1. Click replay link: https://youtu.be/Et_o-uuw5Os?t=27m25s
2. Pause.
3. Note number of kills on czar (18).
4. Count ASFs about to attack czar (14?).
5. Play until just after czar kills asf (to 27:43).
6. Note number of kills on czar (102).

Your number from (6) minus your number from (4) does not equal your number from (3). EG, 102 - 14 != 18.

Why not? Is this a bug?

I know there was some talk about making veterancy mass-based instead of count-based, but I didn't think it was ever implemented. As it stands, it seems the czar gains 6 kills from every ASF ((102-18)/14).

I know the czar is supposed to be a "good" AA unit, especially on the periphery of ASF fights, but this seems ridiculous. I have lost at least two games where I easily had enough ASF to kill a czar, but because of this vetting scheme, it survived with plenty of health.

Was this intentional? If so, why? If not, can it be fixed?
