While I like the idea of "ringing" with t1 power to increase e-storage. We shouldn't encourage newer players to think of building e-storage in their main power grid as a good thing.

I think the underlying reasoning for income bonus from adjacency lies in losing less power through the cables you see when placing them adjacent. If we suppose the ACU is storing the power when you have no storage, some of the power may be lost in transit over distance. Ergo saving power is the same as earning power and the income bonus is the most logical conclusion.
There is no logical way to explain why/how a storage adjacent to a pgen should impact storage capacity.

I love this idea. Why not both bonuses ? power income and storage bonus.

Power Storages adjacent to pgens give more storage capacity instead of power income.

That way everyone can be happy when they make them adjacent to t1 pgens or hydro (everyone does that even though its obviously very bad ).

For example 250 more storage for each adjacent t1 pgen, 500 for hydro.
