FA has worst campaign?

I've played the original game, and it had a phenomenal story, game play, and music. How every, FA had a minimal story, and the campaign was unbearable.

In the first mission, the only challenge is yourself. Not the enemy, but forgetting to defend yourself from the GC that comes later on. As long as challenge issues (The campaign was still easy on hard.), the story is laughably worse. The first thing a character warns you about is a casual "-Ah hell, gunships incoming." Oh no, mister! The UEF might fall if I don't gate! Please pay more attention to your job instead of playing on your Iphone. I've also seen how they put too much trust into one colonel to do suicide missions for them. That's probably why Dostya died in the first place. Which brings up another point: WHY CAN'T WE MOVE PAST THE BLACK BOX? I know that it is there to make you focus on one objective at a time, but it gets annoying sometimes. One time, when I finished an objective on Operation Meltdown, the black box never moved, and I was stuck there forever.

The plot is unbearable. It just uses plot devices that create more questions. What happened to

When I first played this game, I didn't even pay attention to any errors. But now, after experiencing developers trying to get away with being lazy, I've become strict with what makes a game good. And FA is far from it.

2/3 of vanilla campaign was just a tutorial, unit introduction. There were no challenge at all. And difficulty was far easier than in FA.

And that part too much of trust was put into one colonel cause first mission is basically saving last UEF military command. There wasn't too much left from UEF.

And if you compare how Arnold died in vanilla (even though he didnt die) to how Dostya dies, bit different cases. Arnold had problems with fw T1 T2 units!! Supreme commander Arnold...

That's a good point. But the main problem with the FA campaign, is that you literally turtle and build up an army. If you want a "challenge", you can play without shields, but it's still easy. I just don't like how they encourage turtling.

they are a little bit harder.

you should try Speed2's Sera mission, that is whole new level of difficulty :D

Well it's true that there were bit more time limits in vanilla missions but it was not everywhere. You also had a lot of time for turtling.

If you want I can add time limits to most of the FA missions as well ^^ I would also make sence
