what you witnessed happened solely due to the server reset - when faf was non-functional for about a week.

if you paid more attention you would have seen that it went down from 13000, to just under 10000, and now its been going back up slowly ever since
i cant find the link but theres real time player-online count and its been increasing every week, as people find out that its mostly working again.
currently some features are still broken so there are still some people who dont go on much.

you're not helping. be constructive not destructive. the server work was a necessary ill. be a man and swallow the pill. if you do you'll actively be participating in making everyone come back and why not make even more join.
