So. Simple question:
Have you tried to play without the router? you do know that you dont NEED a router?
Without the router there is no need to route packets.
If you are unable to directly connect to the webz enable DMZ for your computers IP-address.
Not that NAT should cause problems anyway, not with PnP/uPNP or port forwards. But you can't affect other peoples settings so whatever you do, there will always be delays on the other side of the connection. To solve lag the game should have battle-servers like Starcraft 2 or Company of heroes 2 - whereas the users connect to a cenral server instead of to each other - this would solve all problems with connections and the slowest pinging player will not affect latency as much.
