Low sim speed autokick

Was recently playing a game. 31 mins into the game the sim speed was -4. Everyone else was at +2 or +3 with one person at 0. He refused to leave. 40 ins in it was -5. Thats less than half speed, unplayable. Everyone wanted him gone but he just said no. After your sim speed reaches -3 you should be instantly kicked from the game, and if your teamed, even if its share until death your stuff should be given to your team.

I understand your pain, but perhaps autokick is a bit too hard?

How about vote then? window pops up and if more than 50% say yes then he is out.

Only if the guy is at least -2... Hmm .. The harder is to see if it's actually possible..

I was thinking the same thing. I don't know of any way to run lua scripts based upon thinks like sim speed....

Because the information is (probably) inaccessible from the script.

Well how about having a timer separate from the game timer and comparing them every few mins to calculate sim speed?

That would be a great idea if there were a way to implement it.

Actually, I take that back, it's a terrible idea because every player in the game runs the game at the same speed. What you want is a way to tell what the max sim speed a person's system CAN have is.
