Dry Cannon UNBALANCED MAP!

If anyone cares to look, The map Dry Cannon in the ladder 1 vs 1 map pool is horrifically imba. The top side has a clear advantage with one extra mass point, and better reclaim by the back mass points. Me and MadStork normally are very evenly matched, but our last two games were both won with a crushing victory by the top side. Someone needs to look at this.

Errr...

It was in the votes to remove it, it wasn't voted for, so it will stay.

What I'm supposed to do ? I've never launched a map editor.

Most people propably didnt know that its imbalanced.

There's not much we can do if people want to make their voice heard through the map vote polls, but don't actually care enough to be informed on what they're voting on. :)

Personally, I don't actually see the problem with asymmetrical maps like this. I like a challenge.

this is ridiculous. In every other part of FAF like balancing and features you say "what I say goes" and here where the voting was obviously false and some voters might not know the map, you keep the community's decision?

How can you spend so much energy after the balance of the gameplay, and in the same time let some huge balance mistakes going on ???


(Useless to remember you that a mex gives +2 each second. it gives around +2400 extra mass on the north spot for a 20min game, this is huge, and this is only the case where this mex keeps on T1.)

Without this mex problem, Dry Canyon is an excellent map, and i doubt it's hard to find someone who can rebalance it in less than 10min...
(And on the same good move, try to get desert arena and forbidden pass corrected ^^)

What he says does go. If you don't like that, find somewhere else to play.

Or pick up a map editor and fix it yourself instead of complaining and then making excuses about why you can't do it. :)
