High rated players want to have fun too

Bring back old 100 map ladder pool.
You will be surprised how many people will start to play. Not just the old grumpy nolifers who whored all these maps long time ago, but those who get inpiried by the replays they generate.

Yes i would be really surprised. Especially after only very few people wanted big pool to come back in my ladder survey.

given that implementing those properly will take few years maybe we need to just use only vote or something...

Do you realize tho that ladder is pretty cancer now, where players have no incentive to aim to become better cause it was simplified to accomodate worse and new players cause they suck at this game?

Lets be honest, previous idea of shortening it to 5 maps to generate more skillful play failed hard. Cause there are hardly anyone skilled left playing (including Blodir and CC who pretty much made you do it).

No idea what means do you use to measure the amount of people wanting smth but i see a bunch of ppl atm in aeolus who agree with big pool.

CC is active nowadays, the activity of high rated player have always been low.

I don't necessarily want 100 maps, but i would definitely prefer 20+ maps in the pool, with 5-10 maps rotating every period.

Also, as long as we keep having these small pools can we please finally implement the "not totally random" map chooser? There has been talk about this for more than half a year now but it still isn't implemented.

Also, isn't it possible to test such a pool for 2 weeks and see the results? If it didn't have any positive effects you can just reverse it. Not much to lose from this.
