Aeon ASF has double DPS?

I was just checking relative damage output for the different fighters in the units DB, and it says that the Aeon ASF has 400 DPS, compared to ~200dps for the other factions. Is this correct?

Double DPS and half accuracy. It doesn't give you any edge in an ASF fight... but come to think of it, it should do all sorts of nasty versus Czars and the like when properly controlled. Has anyone testing that scenario?

1. The Seraphim ASF has the same dps.
2. Take a proper look at the big 2x in front of the Cybran and UEF weapon statistics.

I must have been reading it wrong then, I spotted the 2x but I assumed the total DPS figure took that into account. I see that Sera one says 405dps now, I could have sworn it said 205 when i posted. Oops.

I had a similar shock when I first looked at the unit database. I may have made a similar post as the OP if I hadn't noticed the number of weapon systems listed in huge font. I guess the internet and advertising has led us to ignore the large bold fonts as they are often used by obnoxious attention seekers. The database has no emotional need for attention. The large font is serving it's original purpose in calling your attention to something important. In this case, ignoring that large font caused you to make this silly thread
