Lobby mod suggestion - similar colours for each team

Sometimes on a team game I forget which colours are my allies and which colours are not. I'm aware that there's an option to override the colours with standard ally and enemy colours, but I think that it would be nicer if everyone on team 1 was a different shade of one colour, team 2 different shades of another colour and so on. Possibly even similar but different colours, e.g. light green, dark green, yellow, gold together.

I haven't the first clue about modding, but I get the impression that changing colours is not a big job so I was wondering if anyone else would like it if the colours worked like this, and if there is anyone who'd be willing to do the coding?
