Due to a change in approach by one of the applicants, we have decided after great deliberation that we are going to restart the voting process and include FtXCommando. We appreciate the feedback that you have all provided about our previous decision, and we accept that mistakes were made during the process. To make the process completely fair, everyone will have to vote again. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this and thank everyone who already voted.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks to the hard work of Axel12, Downlord and Rackover, you can now vote for the currently vacant position of Player Councilor.

The process works by going to https://voting.faforever.com/ and signing in with your FAF-account.

Please beware you need to have played at least 10 games to vote!

You pick a 1st and a 2nd preference, so even if some candidates are well liked by the same groups of players, they are still fairly represented.

The voting will be open until Jun 20th.

There will be no correction. FTX have been removed from the applicant pool behind our backs just today. As such the only option is to either hold off your vote or to vote for the aussie with attitude a.k.a Biass.....

Not entirely sure, but using the rating manipulation method - among other things - is pretty much the opposite of what a player councillor should be.

I really would love to hear what the applicants have an idea what to do with the amount of chokepoints maps that are being hosted?

Do they think it's fine as it is? Or would they like to get players to try different maps?

For me this is the major issue with faf at the moment. Whenever I look at the play tab, I see crap maps being hosted. The vault is full with beautiful maps, yet the vast majority of games is being played on this. It is such a shame to see that. Some mapmakers didn't even bother to put textures on the map.

I think there are ways to get people play more interesting maps.

I know my taste in maps is subjective of course, but I know a lot of players are missing out on fun.
