This week in the Software Council

Hi there,

Recent events revealed, once again, that council-to-player communication should be improved (I'd like to emphasize that this isn't because we don't want to communicate, but because it takes time which we rather spend getting the job done).

Therefore, I decided to increase the information coming from the Software Council by updating you, hopefully, once a week (again, it takes time I might not always have). I will post the updates on the developer blog (https://faforeverdevblog.tumblr.com/) as we used to in the past, as well as adding a link here whenever there's an update (since the developer blog is rather a hidden thing).

Why tumbler and not here in the forum? you might ask. Because in Tumblr I can add images more easily and format my posts better and its editor is less of a PITA than the forum's. Suggestions are welcome.

Call for a volunteer: Writing good blog posts easily takes up 30-60min. I'd be great to have a "FAF journalist" who gathers information from us and writes the respective blog posts (similar to what moonbearonmeth is doing in This week in Slack).

I think much more people would be able to find this if there was a news entry for every blog post, with a link.
