Fastest starting eco?

I'm still learning so I'd like to know what's the fastest way to t2? A lot of times I'm behind where my mates have t2 mexes already

Or maybe some video tutorial somewhere? Thanks

there should at least a dozen toutorials on youtube about this topic, often missed is getting reclaim or getting many t1 mex before starting a t2 mex

here are some basic steps to follow.

1. get all mexes as soon as possible. if your mate makes a mex 2 seconds before you do, he is already ahead by 4 mass collected total. multiply that situation by however many seconds or mexes and you can plainly see why he has more mass collected and therefore more ability to upgrade mexes.

2. get all reclaim you can as soon as possible. more mass faster means more t2 mexes faster, simple as that.

Whenever I can I reclaim everything but what I mean is, I usually go factory, 2 pgens then all mexes while hydro is being built so I avoid getting power locked, after all mexes are build I upgrade 1 or 2 at a time for efficiency to t2, even doing so sometimes the others are ahead for some reason so there's a better way I'm not aware of

He is not talking about the mexes in your base, but about the ones the map. get them all, its more efficient. and only then start getting t2 mex. exceptions do exist, as always. You also cant have one build order only and play it on every map. You have to adjust your build according to circumstances

okay... i can give one!
making a storage inbetween 2 t2 mex is more efficient than upgraiding next t2 mex (i think it can even be good to just make a a storage between t2 and t1 i forgot result of calculations)

Simplest answer, copy whatever the faster person does. Building the pgens before the hydro will most likely slow you down.
