Leave my dude dual gap alone

Postby Dreck » 24 Jun 2018, 14:16

You know how long it takes for a casual to get a grip on this game ? Damn long.

Casual players dont wanna get raped day after day on some small ass t1 map, where some fast straving t1 aeon tanks gliding arround in that expierenced nerd sweat, dogeing every shot my static commander throws at them.

Takes forever to figure out all the important details in this game, reading them is one thing, practicly applying them another, dual gap gives us the oppertunity to "explore", not every game is fast nuke/arty.
You know how good dual gap is for this community, check how many people are playing it everyday, having a good time, keeping everything busy.

So listen up #aelous chat gangsters, when i ask you how to be a better navy on dual gap, dont throw shit like " you cannot get better on dual gap", " dual gap is for noob lol", " lolol dual gap lololol", i wont have it anymore, leave my dude dual gap alone, embrace dual gap, play dual gap, leave your 10 min t1 games behind and join us, in that beautiful, never lagging, 12 person lobby, in wich we can chat, have a laugh and plan the next rehost, because someone is about to lag out.

Not really, everyone learns at a different pace.

Yea, because there is only small ass t1 maps and dual gap.

And you can explore the beauty of conn issues, disconnects and team base reclaiming; oh yeah bby!

They especially keep the moderators busy, because most reports are from these kind of maps.I would rather see 100 decent players on decent maps than 1000 gap players. Please explain how they"enrich" the community.

^^

Duel gap has 2 builds: Eco and Nuke rush. Anything else is just hampering your team.

Eco: upgrade mexes as fast as possible while upgrading air or land to t3 depending on where your slot is, make sure you have anti, then go for arty at minute 23/24.

Nuke rush: just get nuke as fast as possible, around minute 18 I think. You'll almost always be able to hit your opponent's mid base, and while the main enemy base will get anti in time, they'll need at least 2, which almost pays off your nuke even if it doesn't really kill much.

As Endranni mentioned, if you think you need navy, make some frigates and perhaps some torps.

Would you say spamming frigates is in most cases better, then rushing higher tier navy ?

I won't comment on the other stuff since it is mostly subjective, but saying that Dual Gap is less sweaty than other maps... well I think that mostly depends on what lobbies you join :D

Also: Aolus is a thing for itself, if you want to get good advice just try PMing some guys. I am sure they will respond with something other than "lol xd DG n4b"

And again: Just asking how to get better at something is not the right way. Try to specify your problem. For example when you are unsure about the amount of pgens you have to build try: "how many t1 Pgens for a t2 navy rush"
Or: "hey do you know a good buildorder for a t2 navy rush on Dual Gap?" if your buildorder is suboptimal. Surely this will get you better responses.

You should ask someone to make a mod that lets you build wall sections on water. Then u just need to spam them everywhere to never lose navy again!
