Cerebus Unit Database error?

No, this is not asking for a buff.

Anyways, I was poking around the database, and noticed that for whatever reason, the Cerebus is listed to only have 30 dps. I know Cybran PD trades DPS for accuracy/overkill prevention, but I think 30 is a bit pathetically low even for that. Am I reading the stats wrong, or is that a typo?

I vaguely remember Default FA Cerebus to have a trishot thing, is this still the case?

Yes it is 90 dps.

30dps per barrel. And as name suggests Cerberus have 3 of them so 30x3=90

you can always use this db to check the values, its (almost) always right!

interestingly, here the dps is 100 since it fires every 0.3 and not 0.33 seconds (game runs in 0.1s ticks)

Dank, that looks really nice. Strange that it doesn't seem to be posted anywhere. Is it ok if I stick a link to it on the FAF wiki?

Also, do you know what the numbers by Veterancy means? There's a bunch of patch notes about XP per kill or per Mass amount, and last night I played two games, each with different veterancy types, leaving me awfully confused.

The units gains veterancy when it has killed a certain mass worth of units or more. Here for the point defense for example :



Each veterancy level changes the HP and regen of the unit. For example, at veterancy level 1, the point defense will get 1430 HP instead of 1300.

The system for ACUs and SACUs is a bit different, as the worth required to kill changes depending on what kind of units you kill.



If you prefer spooky's database over the official one, you can enable it in Downlord's client from the settings as the default database.

Oh no, I get that. I meant that Spooky's database seems to use different numbers for Veterancy.

And also the Megalith's torpedo values don't look right for either database.

On the Unit List, first veterancy requires 280 Mass, giving 2332 HP at 3hp/s

the veterancy that spookys uses is from the old system so its not accurate, but the dps shown in spookys db for the megalith torpedoes is correct

(its a little confusing though, the torpedoes deal damage over time, in this case 100 in 20 damage increments, so it shows the damage as 20/torpedo but actually its 400 every 1.3 seconds.)
