macros and auto clickers (cheats or not?)

Hey. I've been playing the game for two and a half years. Faced such a problem: A player has some kind of program for re-pressing (autoclick) the left mouse button. In places where there is a reclaim, he clicks it in 3 seconds and I need 15 seconds. Is it fair to other players? Should he be banned?

I would say as long as it is a publically accessable ui mod it is not unfair and as long as the ui mod does not destroy the whole game idea. I mean this mod would not be much different from eco manager etc. ... if i think about it such an auto clicker would be fairly easy to write. But using it secretely and not publishing it seems unfair... but only my personal opinion...

Typically auto clickers are a button on an actual mouse that just makes the computer think you're clicking really fast. Same with Macros except it's typically a keyboard button that just sends a combination of other keys.

Not sure you could stop people from doing that and tbh it doesn't give much of an advantage over manually clicking if you're reasonably fast imo.

No, don't. There's no need to incriminate a single person over this.
Autoclickers and macro do exist, the debate is on wether or not they should be allowed - not about who is using them.

many cheats for actual good games exist in public domain with a two word google search but you can still get banned for those so i think this is a meme opinion despite my apathetic stance

My view is the following:

I. The macro gives you an unfair advantage as you can save time and you can use this time for other actions.

II. The effects are very low and won't help you to reach a significant higher rating.

I'm playing this game with 35 apm more or less. So I have enough time to click in all stones. Furthermore there are times I have nothing to do in the game. This macro would indeed assist my laziness but nothing more.
