I've noticed this community is not that active which is sad because I just got into this game.
I was wondering if there was many Australians playing. also, if at all possible we could create a team, I've got another friend who I play against a lot but he doesn't "own" FA only Supreme Commander. if someones just looking for a friendly 1v1 PM me :D

The community is actually quite active, and growing all the time! :) It helps to try to come on during peak hours, which are usually afternoon-evening Europe time.

There's also quite a few Australians playing the game; in the FAF lobby you can see where each player is from by the country flag next to their name.

Welcome to the community! :)

Your best bet to find other Australian players is to use the flags in lobby as uber said. I imagine that if you PM them you may find at least a few to play with you on a regular basis.

I am in Oz, (melb) but don't have usable pc or connection yet. I have a mate who comes around for lan games. I have a single core athlon at 3.2, it's ok for 10x10 or 20x20 with unit restrictions, very slow on shards! New pc on the way, thinking of a 3770k with an ssd and no internal spinning drive and no video card, just the integrated video. Total silence. I never play with the sound on and I'm used to using the lowest graphics settings. If it's too horrible maybe i will get a video card later.

Integrated graphics on my i5 2500k seem fine for FA, besides I actually quite like the game on its lowest graphics settings (except fidelity for water)

You need sound though...
