1.He stopped running away,2. he had no t1 units left 3. he had no air control,otherwise some gunships or bombers could've helped him.

What saved me? ~> I still had my base,I had overcharge,was still producing units , focused on killing the units and defense instead of the commander to get my veterancy(which saved me in the end) ,also my army arrived :)
