Internet Connection Speed

Does anyone know if a .50 megabit upload speed could be hurting my online gaming performance?

24.89 Mbps (After the speed test) through cable.

I find this very unlikely. I can play fine while uploading a video and utilising my full 1Mb upload.

Get a traffic manager like BitmeterOS and see whether you saturate your upload speed (62kBps).
