Points Frustrations

Postby Flynn » 17 Feb 2013, 22:52

Okay a slight annoyance. Whenever it looks like I am gonna break 1300 points I lose some again which makes me rage pretty hard! I keep getting knocked down to around 1260 then I beat some 1400+ players then I lose to some n00bs and so on. You would think after 300+ games I would start to get some consistancy  But if I lose more than 2 games in a row I start to get annoyed and keep on playing until I lose more and more :x

Watch every replay of yours.wins and losses. It will give you a good buffer period to cool down after a match(even wins are stressful) it will also help your play improve as you spot ways to be more efficient, more aggressive and understand what your enemy has better at which stages of the game.

Hammering out matches after a loss is just a bad idea. It onl makes life worse.

Just give it time. You've only been playing this a few months. Many of the 1300+ players have been at it for years. It'll click eventually.

yes you get frustrated and start insulting people on the chat. Last time you said something about my mother ?? would you like to re-write it here ?? :)

Np I forgive you , I rage as hard as you so doesnt really matter. Moreover you play very good if you have 300 games.

Just be less d***.

Haha, I only raged on you because I watched a replay of you raging on someone else saying that Aeon is OP because of the Auroras range :D I knew you would rage at me anyway so I premptively raged at you

brn4meplz, I think forcing yourself to watch every replay is counter productive. You gonna make yourself go mad if you do that everytime you loose! Besides I am not sure it is always helpful to watch the replays anyway! Playing is the best way to improve afterall, watching replays is good in theory but not as useful in practice.

Practice BOs.

Critically analyse your replays.

Learn to become a competitive player by playing and trying harder.

All of these things have been told to you numerous times before, but every time someone tells you an incredibly important part of improving your game you dismiss it because you don't want to do it. Perhaps you should start following all the advice people have given you rather than dismissing it because you think it isn't correct or won't help.

I don't mean to be nasty but I've seen you repeat yourself so many times without acting on all the guidance that has been offered.

The key is to look at a replay where you think you were going to win, but then lost, and figure out what it was that your opponent did. Alternatively, look at replays where you won, and figure out what mistakes your opponent made, and make sure you don't end up making those mistakes yourself.
