FAF and GPGnet compatible - what did I miss ?

But FAF is both compatible with Steam AND Gpgpnet version.

you can have both installed at the same time with a single FA directory (though 2 bin folders)

OK so am I paranoid or was it a deliberate intention to mislead new comers to install FAF(in the same perspective of the daily propaganda that takes place on GPGnet) instead of remaining on GPGnet? I mean they could genuinely think that both are really compatible and that they could join the same games from each platform, when they can't.

No, it's just saying that FAF now works with both the GPGNet 3599 version and the Steam 3603 version.

If you have 3599 installed, you can install FAF and play.
He doesn't mean 3599 will be the game mode on which you play, just that if you have GPGNet and 3599 installed, FAF will work.
If you have Steam and 3603 installed, FAF will also work.
