Bomber "multidrop"?

While trying to learn the map "Loki", I came across this replay in the replay vault: 923102

In that replay, at minute three, the Seraphim player micros his bomber to a stop (or nearly so), and drops off THREE *separate* loads of bombs over about a six-second period, all in a single pass, completely destroying a row of four Pgens that were at full health before the pass. How is this possible? I know it takes three bombs to kill a Pgen, but usually that means three passes with the bomber. And I also know that it's possible to get fairly quick-succession bomb drops against separate targets that are fairly close...but this is the first time I've seen successive single-pass bomb drops against the SAME target.

As an aside: both of these players have a different name within the replay than the name that showed up in the FAF replay vault list (i.e., the Seraphim player with the fancy bomb drop micro is Lu_Xun_17 in the FAF list). How/why is this happening?

Phim bomber has a reload of 4 seconds, I don't know how this is possible.

6 seconds was probably an exaggeration. If you spam move orders under/right behind a bomber of any tier, it will stop and back up a hair at a time while hovering. If you do it long enough, you can hover the entire reload time and then just drop a bomb and repeat. The seraphim t4 bomber is pretty funny when done this way, as it is a base wrecker on par with the czar.

OK, 7 seven seconds, maybe eight. I just ran the replay again and noted more carefully the time of each bomb release:

Sounds about right to me. 4 second reload, and Lu_ is a HIGHLY skilled player. Trust him to have perfect timing with the reloads and drops.

OK, but the thing that blew my mind on that was not the reload time per se, but the dropping of three sequential bomb loads on the SAME target without having to fly/circle around. Like some kind of levitating artillery superunit. First time I've seen that...and I've watched a lot of replays and casts. You can even see in the replay where he is putting the attack cursor on the same target unit again.

i agree that multibomb is lame and you can't dodge that with your engineers cause they stuck in buildings in base, and also use multibomb all the time cause that is imba

It's a skill to be learned in the game, as a manipulation of game dynamics and unit behaviour. For example, making a Tempest fire straight up to kill a low-HP CZAR, or building a Land Factory that appears to be *well* outside your build range.

I feel it's a problem because it's an example of excessive micro causing good effect in a game which is supposed to be more about strategy.
This is not starcraft. I want to play a game where my strategy, not my ability to click makes a difference.
