I have reached that time of year when I start to feel nostalgic again. I wish it would not keep happening. So peers of the FA realm, is it time for me to become a no-lifer setons player for the nth time? Or does no one give a damn? xD Actually I would welcome a short summary of important setons related game changes, as I have noticed the version number is significantly higher and it seems like a lot of effort to read all the changelogs. And also what unit(s) are currently over powered. Thanks.

P.S. I have almost (but not quite) even missed the rage quits/stacking/bitching that goes on in this wonderful game.

I have never played good setons cause i am -3 at 15 min, but fucking love this game just for 1v1, sometimes i think it would be better if i had no GF (:

And of course we would like to see you play, maybe you will be part of some epic 3 hour game that will be casted by Gyle/ZaphodX/TAForLife and have 10000 views on youtube.
Or just come online at evening and see someday we will hit 1000 players online

changes are mostly within a 10%-20% margin.
ASF have less HP, reclaim from the trees is about 60% of the old amount.
and engy mod is coming soon. overlapping shields take extra damage.
there are now wrecks in the water.

SAMS got AOE, 2000 less health.
Somewhat less mass in the mid on setons? Thought I heard TA say this in one of his casts.
Cerberus turrets have new firing graphic, less DPS because they don't miss now.
Mantis turret buffed to 100 turn rate.
Aurora supposed to be responsive now.
T3 Artillery is cheaper.
Scathis is more expensive
Yalona oss/salvation cheaper
Cybran navy buffed AA
Various ACU upgrades cheaper (billy, restoration field, etc.)

most important for setons i think:

- massive buff for groundbased AA against ASF
- restorer nerfed
- huge buff for t3 navy
- destroyed ships now leave 50% mass wrecks
- Cybran AA buffed
- stacked shields nerfed (mobile shield recive dmg when they are stacked and one shield is hit, so shieldstacking becaomes less efficient but a few shields stay like the same
- better get a TMD next to your naval base, billy is much cheaper now

Balance got considerably better, now cybran navy is much better and isn't an auto-loss and aeon become quite bad since mobile shields cant be stacked anymore and are basicly in disadvantage in every stage. Also a failed attack isnt gg anymore since both asf and naval wrecks are worth much less. Engymod will also be implemented soon which will reduce the need for mass t1 engie spam

In answer to your question root, I think it has been about a year. And how is this "engymod" going to work, does it give massive build power to higher tier engineers?

Also did the setons equivalent to Hannibal Barca that is Dim14 ever come back?

Sup Galac long time no see, Dim is back hes called MnB now. Not a massive amount has changed Seton s wise for you to worry about. Some annoying exploits fixed and a few tweaks here and there but nothing major.

Engie mod will be a big change but you will need to play the balance test to see for yourself.

you have to come back, almost all good players are gone. the average level is quite high now. setons is better balanced than ever before. t3 navy isnt that imba now, shieldspam does not work as you know it. cybran frigs and destroyers have good enough aa to shoot down torps. sacu´s cost 2k mass now --> harmspam xD

i just thought about you a few days ago when somebody asked me if i have the perfect build and i had to think about you you are the only sandbox player there ever was and we want you back Dim is still good but compared to the standard he does not dominate everythink like in gpg... (he was on ladder 3 for a long time)

gala just join us again. stop thinking about the downsides i know you miss the raging about incompetent mates, you miss eco whoring, you miss the shittalk. the seton world needs you. who cares about real life if you can be among the best on setons ?

Just do it. And overclock your cpu a phenom @ 3,5 ghz is the slowest we allow now

Many things have change , indeed almost all usual players are gone,but i think you will find good matches with all new avarage players, they own the (good player) stats.
Start play with them they need you.
You will love Sera now,and hate Czar vet that its anoying...just 1 Czar with some vet can take out all you´r asf´s
