sacus vs exp units give me your thougts!

ive been thinking about using sacus instead of experimental units, comboed with acu

first of all, t3 gatehouse to produce them cost about 3000 mass

then the uef sacu costs about 9k

upgrades to get the shield dome which has stunningly 52000hp costs about 5k mass so we are still 3-4k mass under what the cybran monkeylord costs to produce

this has to be a very strong combo against anything, put acu under that shield and u have incredible fast build power, acus overcharge and the very strong shield protection from the sacu, also u can get shield upgrade for the acu aswell which will give it an extra shield protection for up to 60k-70k damage if im not to wrong mixed with the sacu ofcourse

shield down acu has about 18k hp and sacu 35k

also mentioned if u can get a seraphim coop player, u can have 1 acu, 1 uef sacu for shielding and 1 seraphim sacu for an extra overcharge. 2 overcharges under an indestrutible shield with incredible build power

in my opinion that would be incredible op. what are your thoughts about this idea? and how could this be countered and best way to take fully use of this

It simply takes a lot more time to build a gate, sacu and then upgrade it, rather than build an exp. And the exp will arrive at your base when you are not finished.
In my opinion, the only feasible sacu to build is sera. It has OC upgrade and shield+nano gives it about 60-70k hp in sum.
I once got 5 of them and went to attack, was fun to one-shot enemy exps 8-)

true that the seraphim is the only battleborn sacu ingame...its quite funny actually considering 2 seraphim sacus can devastate absolutely all land forces thrown at it with a simple oc

2 sacus with oc upgrade can easily take on a GC and win...so thats why im wondering sacus can be a better investment than exps if u rush a sacu instead of exp...massing engis around the quantum gate and then upgrading fast as hell

also a fully upgraded seraphim sacu with the upgrade u wrote above..included the cost of the quantum gateway is around 18k mass which is still far cheaper than the ML which is the cheapest exp

1 sacu with acu can easily take down a early exp

not to think of the army those two togheter could be taking down...enemy air attack? with that massive build power spam shields or t3 sams

it costs ~2.5 times more energy and takes 4.3 times build time than ML

SCUs are definitely overpriced, but they still have uses.

UEF: 52k hp bubble shield
Sera: OC, teleport+tac missiles combo
Cybran: Rapid fire emp gun and the only mobile sam
Aeon: Insta GC with sac, also starts with 2x dps of other SCUs and is the cheapest

Besides that they are really good for reclaiming dead exps and ships under hostile conditions (such as navy or fatboy fire). SCUs are also the most unit cap efficient engineers. With engineering upgrade 1 SCU replaces 18 t1 engineers for build power when you really need to free up capacity for more combat units.

That's why I believe their price and buildtime can be adjusted in order to make them available sooner, even if it means that they should have less HP. Cheaper and more fragile SCU (I mean without upgrades), but available earlier would add some diversity to t3-4 stage of the game, because then you can customize them to your liking before it's too late (before the GC is at your door).
