RAS SCU preset?

So, we have got these SCU presets now, which is a vast improvement and was a really good idea. Though what I don't understand is, why we don't have a RAS preset? SCUs often get spammed as eco boosters. The annoying part about that is thought, that you have to upgrade em all one after the other with RAS. Why don't we have a preset for that? This is kinda neglecting the most widely spread use of the unit.

Yes please add RAS to engineer preset! Because on any match you make SCUs you are going to use them for RAS...

We had that untill Zep removed it along with teleporter preset, the adjacency bonus was giving too much.

What adjacency bonus? And how does his make sense even? The only difference is wheter you upgrade it manually or have a preset for it.

Place T3 pgens next to the gate - you get bonus as presets are just more expensive unis, you do not have that if you upgrade them after building basic sacu.

I see. Ok. Well then adjust the price of the unit according to the number of ress buildings adjacent to it, or balance it in another way. But removing this a useful feature because of balance is kinda suboptimal.

The presets are not meant to make RAS spam easy, they are meant to make all other unused upgrades used more easily. You build SCU only for RAS? Then fine, just upgrade them as you are used to. People never bother with all the other upgrades because it's annoying to manage several upgrades, presets intend to fix these, not RAS.

Deliberately making something less accessible through UI than something else, just because it does not fits one's own idea of ideal gameplay is kinda questionable. And also, I almost never use SCUs because I can't be bothered to fiddle with the upgrading. If you really wanted to make SCUs more useful for combat you shpould get rid of the death nuke damage, wich makes them become instable when used in masses. Just yesterday I played a game where I attacked with 50 SCUs (50, yes) and lost most of them through death nuke damage.
