BUG REPORT: Major Issue with FAF

Hello,

My computer installed the latest patch for Forged Alliance Forever. It doesn't work at all now. When I click on the desktop shortcut I get an error message saying,

"The Item 'FAForever.exe' that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly. Do you want to delete this shortcut?"

Navigating to the FAF folder on my computer. FAForever.exe now appears as a text document with the following contents:

Because of this. My installation of FAF is now completely useless. I have not been able to access FAF all afternoon. If this issue could be fixed that would be most appreciated. Thank you.

I have read through the introductory posts in the Technical Support Forum and used the search function. I currently cannot post new topics there. Please feel free to move this thread to the relevant forum if that makes things easier for you.

The issue raised is still ongoing. If the *.exe file isn't working then I understand that the automatic update function will not work either. Which means I will need to re-install FAF at my end. If you could advise what action to take and when it can be taken that would be most appreciated.

You have to really read the post, the reason why you can't post is in there.

You can download the installer diretly on the FAF website.
