Buying Supreme Commander

Game costs €14,99 on steam for gold edition which includes Forged Alliance addon. Anyone know if there are better deals available? I think I will donate the rest (and maybe some extra) to the FAF project.

Go to Amazon and get a FA expansion key for like 3 dollars. You don't need the original Supcom game. You can use the key on steam to download.

I see Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance [Download] for $14.99, there are other <non download> versions available, but they cost less - makes sense.

just wait for a sale. there were regularly sales on steam with 50% or 75% off.
you just need supreme command:forged alliance and not the vanilla game.

i have bought it a couple of months ago in a humble bundle deal for 1$.
before that, i played FAF for years without a legit copy of supcom:fa.

At this point i may point out that it seems like new versions (in germany by the reseller "pyramid games") seem to have CD keys that are no longer recognized by steam as a gold version.

You can get it for less then 2 Euro (not the gold edition, just FA, but buying gold edition is useless imo, unless you want to play original campaign)

Not sure if 2 is the final prize, but it will not reach 3 for sure, its all cd-key (activate on steam)
