Postby bgamer1998 » 18 Dec 2014, 03:15

This is incredibly important, I have estimated that a GC can walk at 109.8 MPH. But that's all it I have. I still however have a question to all, what is the height of the Mavor? please tell me how you got the answer! If anyone could link me to photos please do so!

The former was supplied by GPG as official data I believe, the latter worked out from units vs map dimensions.

I remember the thread that picture was posted in. The dimensions were not correct if I am not mistaken.

On the supreme commander (vanila) website every unit had it's dimensions shown.

It was a nice website :)

In the intro movies of the UEF and the Cybrans, you can work out the dimensions by comparing the person's body with the ACU foot (UEF) or the tube capsule (Cybran), and then compare the respective things to the two cockpits. You'll get to an ACU size of about 40m, maybe 50, but certainly not 90.

The map dimensions support this. A 5km x 5km map is 256x256 squares, which have size 1. That means that a square is ~19.5m. If you check the unit files of the ACUs, you can see that the size is about 2, or that an ACU is 39m.

This was also the size in the old database.

well guessing that a mech marine is around 11.7 meters tall would think that a ACU is around 90 meters at least! (how can I show picstures?)
