1v1 Tournament: FAF Masters Cup

Date: Saturday, October 6th at 8:00 AM PDT (3:00 PM UTC)
FINALS: Sunday, October 7th at 10:00 AM PDT (5:00 PM UTC). Participants may play their rounds earlier if both players are agree. However all players must start their games by 5:15 PM UTC.)
-Double elimination
-Rounds are Bo3. (I understand this may make tournament last all day, so it is subject to change depending on number of signups.)
-Update 1: In the interest of time the first part of the tournament will have a single elimination "group" stage where each group consists of two players playing in a Bo3. Winner of the group moves onto the final stage, which will be double elimination. See Challonge page.
-Update 2: A better way was to just have 1 single elim group stage -> double elim final stage.

1st place prize = 300 USD
2nd place prize = 150 USD
3rd place price = 75 USD
PAYOUT WILL BE THROUGH MATCHERINO, WHICH USES PAYPAL. An option for payout via check is also possible through Matcherino (please refer to https://intercom.help/matcherino/matcherino-platform-faq/cashing-out-of-the-platform to find out more about how payouts work). This means participants will have to sign up for the tournament through Matcherino as well. This can be done easily if you have a Twitch account. Once you officially sign up for the tournament you will be added to the Challonge bracket.
All rules subject to change until start of tournament.
Min rating: Highest lifetime rating of > 1800 ladder or global, whichever is higher.
Signups will close 15 minutes before tournament begins or at discretion of tournament director.
HOW DO I JOIN?
Sign up through Matcherino by clicking the participants tab and pressing the red "Join" button. Once you're signed up through Matcherino you must post a reply in this thread stating you are signing up, PM me through forums or Discord. Please post a reply or pm me if any questions.
Seeding will be done according to ladder rating.

Not all maps listed will be used. Maps to be used during the tournament will be chosen at random from the pool on tournament day. ACU starting positions to be same as those used in ladder 1v1 unless both players agree to use different starting positions. If a map hasn't been used in ladder the players can discuss starting positions.
TIEBREAKERS (both acus die): you must play again on the same map UNLESS both players can agree to play on ANY 5x5 map in FAF that they both agree on (the hope is to save time and effort for players)
