Help With Sound

First off its Kudos to whoever did all the work on FAF. Been away from gaming for some time and didn't even know GPG had gone down!

My problem is that I have no sound for the game, I have sound for the music and if I turn up the effects I can hear some background humming but firing, clicking on units etc does not generate any sound. Is this a FAF bug or something else?

something else, check if it is muted in windows (not ingame)

no cos I hear the other sounds like the game music, and background humming. its just the firing and unit noises I can't hear.

Put your settings in stereo in windows.
