Ridiculous!?! Won't Login from my VM!!

Forged Alliance works perfectly under Parallels 8 yet, the FAF client says "We highly doubt that FA runs on a Virtual Machine.". Do you guys actually have real hardware?? This game is fairly old DirectX 9 and you highly doubt it runs in a Virtual Machine?? And you deactivate my account? Who are you to decide where I play my games? Is there a way to bypass this ridiculous check?

I see what this is based on and it's stupid! All I want to do is play this form my MacBook, I can and I will bypass this check.

Oh well I guess I need something to do. Shouldn't take long considering this was developed by marginal programmers at best. Write a new interface module, put it in between, proxy out the other method calls besides all the ridiculous checks.

All software can be changed especially when the implementation is...well....lol

If you don't want people on ranked with VMs then limit that. This at first seemed like a good way for a few friends to play. I don't want ranked or any of the other features except host and join. It's a shame you guys had a good idea here.

I think VM restrictions are there because of anti-smurfing protection, not because of "bad programming" or whatever. Do not try to bypass this or you might get banned. This is there for the benefit of the community. Don't run from VM anymore, and speak to Ze_pilot to activate your acc.

You can't use a VM on FAF, and I suggest that you change your tone, especially when you are asking for help.
