Major Phantom-X Update

Duck_42 and mead are proud to present the next major release of the Phantom X mod, with numerous long overdue changes.

  • changed the army colors to make them more visually appealing (work in progress)
  • added ability for the phantoms to spawn a random nuke on the map (this ability has a small cooldown)
  • most importantly, we introduce the VIP list: if you get put on this list, you can choose your own assignment (more features will be added soon). We will select deserving individuals as appropriate for addition to the VIP list. If you would like to increase your chances of being selected, please consider donating to the Phantom-X development effort. We accept Paypal / Bitcoin transactions (pm Duck_42 or myself for details). This is a necessary step to support all the effort and time that goes into working on this amazing mod.

If anyone encounters any problems associated with this update, post the relevent parts of game.log file on this thread, and I'll look into fixing the problem.

Edit: Some people are apparantly too dumb to read the thread before posting, so I'll put this here: This was part of an April Fools joke.

It's a bit associal, cause when you are in the wrong timezone you see the wrong date for this post

After extensive testing in actual games, mead and I have decided that v4.1.13 needs more work. We have reverted Phantom-X back to the prior version. :D

To elaborate, unlike the rickrolling engineers and the much hated disco colors, the meteor shower element of the April Fool's version can still be enabled via lobby option (it is off by default). We'll probably refine it some more in the near future and add different settings.

ololo vip donators list... Its patientic. Maybe who donator gives a para on ur base at 1st minute? Or better make a donation button "Win map" ... LOL

I've actually just figured MEAD wrote something into the phantomX mod that disables me from marking a paladin while be a phant.

Its been months since this function has worked for me. When it was first introduced, it worked fine for me - But, for FAR TOO MANY MONTHS when ever Im phantom and I've decided the guy beside me that has held off the phantom for 10+ minutes, I go to mark him as pala, and the PALA marks just never work. Its like all the checkboxs are just pretty pictures that I can look at - There is NO WAY for me to mark a pala. I'm just assuming this is one of meads cruel jokes?
