When i download a mod it doesnt put it in the right folder how do i fix this?

where does it put it then?
where do you want it to be put?
I assume the mod doesnt work? or does it?

it puts them in: documents and I want them in the folder i made especially for the game (the folder is named: faf)

well its the default folder for maps and mods used by FAF, Im not sure if you can change it, Id say no

Is there still an issue that ladder maps can't be moved from default folder?

Not sure if it'd be worth the trouble, but if you want to have a folder for mods in your 'faf' folder you can use symbolic links to link the files in Documents to wherever you'd like them to show up. You'll still see them in Documents, but you can manage them in either location and the changes you make will propagate through both locations. Shouldn't cause any compatibility issues.
