Engie attack move?

Postby SpoCk0nd0pe » 05 Aug 2015, 19:30

Hi people,

I'm having trouble understanding how exactly the engie attack move is suppost to work. During my last mp session (about 6 weeks ago) it worked fine but now I'm having trouble again.
Sometimes the engie does not want to reclaim trees on longer attack moves and just moves. Sometimes when I drag the factory attack move the engies stop reclaiming all together. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I attached the replay, pretty much at 3 minutes it happens. I do some other testing afterwards, in the end I got it working again but the engie I'm using starts dancing very strangely.

Thanks in advance!

[edit]Oh, and this is with the beta balance patch
[edit2]Something seems to be wrong with my game since the last patch, I cannot hotbuild energy storage on the F key anymore too :/

If you have too much resources, like 90% in storage, engies will stop reclaiming so you don't waste resources. If there was something to build, they would assist that building/factory and then returned to reclaim.

Ah, thanks a lot!
I actually got my key layout from you (you have a tutorial video), does your energy storage build key still work after the patch?

I switched back to mass fabs (ecowhoring reasons) and put energy storage among other templates on G key (like T1 PD with walls etc)
