Gameplay Internet Band Consumption

Postby Merak » 19 Oct 2015, 11:43

I'm planning to return to play, but sadly, at my student accommodation I have a limit of 7GB/month  . I would like to know how much is the consumption (in general) of a gameplay. Of course, sometimes will need to download patches/maps/etc (I can do that in another place), but I'd like to know if it's worth before I redownload the game. I never thought I would need to know this

The whole design of the engine is about sending absolutely minimal data. That's why you have to process the received data via sim calculations on your own cpu. Just look at how small replay files are.
