Laddering system seems vastly unbalanced

I played two ladder games and booth times system put me up against players of far greater caliber then i am, and i mean FAR FAR greater, like 5-6 times higher in ranking than me, and obviously they just swept me aside without breaking a sweat, i don't think this is the way to play rely.

these were your first matches, right? It is absolutely normal. The system (true skill) don't know if you are an old GPG player coming back to FAF, or a RTS nerd, or a player who played a lot of team games. Thus, it even don't know if you are a complete beginner. After 2-5 (don't know the exact amount of games) games it puts you into more or less the correct matches...

See this from another point of view... you can watch the replays and see what these guys do better.

You should have a popup that say why on your first games.

It will go better and better over time.

Sory, its just i feel so stupid, i always taught myself to be inteligent person but in this games, IDK i start out Ok i guess, but 10 or so minutes in game i totally lost control, i just get lost on this large maps, trying to grab as much map as i can without having actual infrastructure to support it, and at the same time hamper my opponent as much as i can with my ACU. Its just too much too keep track of, maybe i am just too stupid.

Don't beat yourself up about it, this game is very difficult and it can take a very long time to get competent. Just watch tutorials and practice lots.

Yea I started to actually try and get good 8 months ago and i still have so much to learn, just keep practicing and watching tutorials videos. Also, never give up, you may feel like you'll never be good at times, i've contemplated quitting, but i kept strong and kept playing and you should do the same.
