BUG URGENT: GW pulling nonlogged in players into game.

This afternoon I was grinding away at gw. After a time I noticed I had a tcp/ip error, so I got up and made a coffee. I've either logged back in first, or FAF has just pulled me into a game.

This really kinda sucks when you've spent a day grinding nonstop, have about fifty five victories on your avatar, and working towards fivehundred credits (five/max simultaneous attacks).

In my opinion, if you are going to have full destructible avatars, with little to no persistency, players being pulled into games without being logged into GW should probably be considered an unacceptable state of affairs.

I disagree that this is a bug, but I do agree it kind of sucks as a mechanic: If you have to log-in to GW as an additional step to logging into faf (which is good) you should also have the option to log-out... so you can be on faf/chat/play but not be on the hook for GW.

(To clarify, semantics aside, I agree with Anaryl.)

Just to clarify:

If you log into GW, and attack, and then relog, you are still automatically on the hook for gw. If you get disconnected from FAF (TCP/IP error) you are still on the hook for GW. (the second one I can see being a bug, the first, just needs to be changed.

Also, is there no chance I could get my ava/victories back is there?

I was also thinking about a failsafe function linked to recall to prevent this kind of unpleasant surprise (make a coffee and go back to your desk and find out that a game has started since 5 minutes and your ACU is dead): is it possible to have an ACU automatically recall if no order is given within 1 or 2 minutes?

Would be nice if Avatar Auto Recalls on a disconnect as well. So if they weren't in real danger, they dont lose avatar.

hm.. not sure.. Can be an easy way to avoid a loss..

Maybe only if the guy is in less than 2 units from his spawnpoint.
