Reinforcements sit idle, recall doesn't work and draw=death?

Hi there,

Finally got a game going (the player base seems to be too small).

So far so good. I had 2 GC's lined up (nothing else to spend points on for days), so 'm confident this will go my way.

Built the beacon, GC shows up. And stays on the edge of the map. It's not hostile, but the teammate playing it is not doing anything with it. So, not believing in fair fights in a war, i figure i'd better recall. The button changes color, but I'm stuck, no recall.

My opponent feels sorry for me ans graciously accepts a draw, but now we both end up dead.

Recommendation:
1) Don't reset rank upon death until beta, this just sucks too much and does not promote active playtesting (I've mentioned this before, but now I also have a legitimate complaint).
2) In GC, a draw should be a draw, not a double-loss.

Hi,
i was the opponent.
I too tried to recall too and nothing happened.
We even build a quantum gate and tried it with that.
We decided to do a draw by diplomacy and hope both our avatars will not die.
But I guess we weren't that lucky.
Imho it would be nice if draw with diplomacy wouldn't end in deaths of avatars. Draw with diplomacy is the opposite of death.
I hope we can help a bit with debugging.

Not sure yet because some other bugs crept up (report to be filed by Anaryl), but at least recall seems to be working.

This took a while.

So, recall seems to work now, but a reinforcing GC still sits idle on the edge of the map staying on the support team instead of transferring to me. On top of that I thought I also had a harbringer coming in with the GC, but I never saw it. My opponents Percies arrived just fine and had no problem with my ACU :-( Will take me at least a week to be able to test this again.

So, not fixed?

I don't understand why you are talking of a GC. There is no experimental in the reinforcement list.

If so, it's probably the bug.

I assure you there was, and it did appear on the battlefield, but it remained at the edge of the map and "allied".

I just looked at the replay. Interestingly, there are no reinforcements on the replay (for either side), my commander doesn't get blown up and I flee the battlefield intact (around min 10). While I do prefer that version, its not what happened. I'm sure the GW record shows that I died, so there's a discrepancy right there. Also, the replay is out of sync almost from the start (the game wasn't).

I mean that there is not supposed to be any experimental as reinforcements. It can't work. It's probably what is causing your issues (they can't be put on transports...)

Replays can't work until I massively edit some lobby part. That's my next job.

Ah... well, there WAS a GC in the Aeon reinforcements list and I was able to buy it. Nowhere did it say I shouldn't.
