Just a suggestion: make a homeplanet for each faction which can't be attacked, this way no faction will get extinct (looks at aeon)

aeon what about the cybran were surrounded by the uef and dosnt a faction became part of the one that killed it when they fully lose

The goal is to win.

You can enslave a faction, thats part of the game.
