There is now a "From Squad" option.
It's an implementation test. There is no team game support yet. You can play with it, but you can't dismiss a group, or left one.

im just curios on two things:
1. any estimates on how long until team games are in
2. will one faction have to completely control the map in order for a restart and allow players to choose a new faction?

No faction reroll is planned until the release, whatever happens.

ah ok thanks for the answers but what happens when either the aeon or cybrans control the galaxy and it is still before release?
