Some of the maps used in GW are custom. I get it, there's 150 planets and only a small handful of useful stock maps. But some of these maps are WAY below the bar of what's acceptable. For example, the map used on Planet 54. Not only is it asymmetrical, but it's not even questionable- the bottom spawn point has a gigantic advantage because there's only one route in controlled by a choke, whereas the top spawn point not only has a back entrance but is wide open. Plus, not even all of the resources even work, like you can't build on the bottom expansion's hydrocarbon.

I agree that some maps are just really bad, but i never played on 54 and i do not know other bugged map in GW. (except black flooded, wich is fixable by turning world borders off)

some maps are actually imbalanced and that gives new feature that defender actually have advantage of spawn point, wich i realy like

I'm hoping to have even more asymmetrical maps in the future.

GW is really the place to have uneven maps. It's up to you to know where you are going to fight and get reinforcements/defense accordingly.

I don't know planet 54, but I guess it will be removed. All the maps will change when GW will support team game.

since in GW you can know at what map you are going to fight and possible 3v3 or even 4v4 we could add more big maps, maps from 4v4 team games are very popular and well made Wonder Rohan Piramid Hilli plateau Canis river And there are even better maps

Planet 54 map can be fixed
but at the moment it's just a black map where you cant even see rangerings

Since you can't know whether you will spawn in the favoured spot or the "You're going to lose right away" spot, there's no way to know whether you should use reinforcements/defense.

54 isn't just asymmetrical, it's hideously and blatantly imbalanced in favour of one player.

I agree with 54.

Asymmetric doesn't mean imbalance :)

I did not bothered yet as most map will be replaced by team maps.

Planet 26 (Canyon v2) is also broken (too high mountains, everything black)
